Fifth record from the Southern Rock band that emerged from the Henry Paul Band and The Outlaws. 14 new songs of Classic Rock, Southern Rock and Westcoast.

The still touring and recording GHOST RIDERS, which emerged from the Outlaws-Spin off Henry Paul Band, present "Five", their third record on the Hamburg-based Southern- and Classic Rock-Specialists Phoenix Records. "Five" is a more than solid piece of music in-between Southern Rock and US-Mainstream Rock. For sure it is their best album thus far.
Besides the heavy and catchy openers "Pray for me", "Getting My Love" and the relaxed Swampgroove "Cajun Jesus" the CD assures with all the scope of Westcoast-oriented Classic and Southern Rock. Which means: Relaxing Rock songs, heavy duty use of Slide Guitar, melodic singing, paired with Blues and Boogie and two beautiful ballads - the album has everything.

The Southern Rock all star cast presents its third and definitely best album!

Product info:
This is the third release of the Southern Rock-veterans around Steve Grisham and Phill Stokes. The previous members of legends such as Outlaws, Henry Paul Band and Pure Prairie League, supported by "Kansas"-singer Billy Greer ("That´s a good Thing") and New-Country-Star and Grammy-winner Gretchen Wilson ("It´s only Money"), more and more evolve into a Southern all-stars institution and present their definitely best album to date.
Highlights of this release, amongst the said guest appearances and a hand full of Southern/Country Rock-song peaks: The hymn-like "Grey Ghost" with a guitar battle in the vain of "Lonesome Guitar", "Fall of the Peacemakers" and "Free Bird", the lively rocking title track and the humorous Hip-Hop-adaption of the groups name giving Outlaws-hit "Ghostriders in the Sky".

Short biography:
The essential part of the Ghost Riders is Steve Grisham (guitar & vocals, ex-The Outlaws), Phill Stokes (Bass, ex-Pure Prairie League), Pug Baker (drums) and Barry Rapp (keyboards, ex-Henry Paul Band) and on stage well-known musicians support them from time to time. The group is one of the hardest working bands in the Southern Rock genre.
In the US the Ghost Riders are constantly on the road and an extensive European tour is planned for autumn/winter 2010/2011.
In the US the songs of the band are continuously played at over 2000 radio stations.
